Practical low-cost Actions to Protect your Community

There are simple things we can do on our properties to greatly reduce the danger from wildfire embers.  These embers, not the fire itself, are the most common cause of house fires.  The Wildfire Awareness Society is offering to come to neighbourhood associations and other community groups to explain these simple things we can do to reduce our risk from wildfires.  If your neighbourhood association or other group is interested in a presentation, contact info@wildfireawareness.org .
