LESSONS FROM THE JASPER FIRE – former Jasper Fire Chief Greg Van Tighem will talk about the things Jasper did that helped and the lessons learned.  There will be a Q&A session afterwards.

THINKING OF RENOVATING? THINK FIRESMART – Whitehorse Firesmart Coordinator, Steve Reid, will lead a discussion of the available firesmart building materials for renovations and home construction.

WILDFIRE FILMS – join us for dramatic wildfire films and local shorts. You'll see the face of wildfire up close, learn what we can do to prepare, and hear in person tales from the Jasper fire.

2:15 – CANADIAN WILDFIRE TOWN STORIES – talk with Brandon McKinnon about his cross-Canada study of how communities are coping with wildfire.

CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES – children that have been registered are invited to join in activities in the Beringia display areas and outside.
